Hi,

Is there any clever bloggers here who would know what department within Gov. I can contact regardsing a project to save municipalaties energy. I have tried most departments but have come up blank.

Is there not a site that we can access and find relevant info? Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes --- try the Central Energy Fund (CEF) and NEEA ...

Also that to City Power in Johannesburg and the City of Joburg (and other cities) in the mayors office

Regards
Max

PS... I know electrosense is being looked at as a major solution ...

I have saved more than R500 per month on my geysers, a mammoth 44,4 %. I send emails to about 200/300 people. I still send out, but the response it not good. Even the political parties don't respond or just say, good, we have taken note.
When the penalties come in they might respond with action.
Eskom's PRO came to see me, took photos, but further than that not much happened.
