We as individuals wield a lot of power, and are able to achieve much more than we could possibly perceive... and it is thus possible for us to save ourselves from the crisis we find the Country in... but we're not the only ones that have to do something about it. Government constantly reminds us how important it is to reduce the amount of electricity we consume... but what are they really doing to institute that in their every-day service delivery?
As a simple example, I have been taking photos of Street Lights that are on during the day... now, I've mostly been doing this in the Northern Suburbs, close to where I live, but I am convinced it is not something that's only happening there... So if anyone reading this has seen Street Lights on during the day, or any other way that Electricity is being wasted by The Man, then please post it on here...
Remember, Government is not above the law, and no better than you or me... so let's make a mission of it to showcase what local government is doing to improve the crisis (or what they are NOT doing)... let's get THEM to lift their far-too-comfortable behinds off those nice plush office chairs and make a difference too. Rise up and STICK IT TO THE MAN.
Herewith the Photos:
